Seba Camp

Seba Camp is found within the pristine Abu Concession, in the game-abundant Okavango Delta. Take the prolific beauty of a prehistoric riverine grove, filled with the towering trunks of hardwood trees and place it next to the calming waters of an inland lake, and you will have some idea of the setting for your next venture into the bush.

The Camp

The lantern-lit walkways of the elevated deck are the arteries that carry guests to the different areas of enjoyment. The dining room and spacious bar are filled with the buzz of conversation, whilst the lounge-come-library allows for silent respite. The pool out on the sundeck is ideal for a rejuvenating soak after an exciting game drive.

Seba Camp is excellent for families with children.  The 8 fully equipped and elegantly decorated tents each hold en-suite bathrooms and secluded wooden decks with panoramic vistas of the lagoon and hardwood forest. Additionally, there are two Family Suites and the one suite has a loft room, ideal of older children and adults, whilst the other has an expansive lounge, housed on a higher deck. Either of these suites has its own plunge pool for deeper relaxation.

Activities & Wildlife

Hailed for its family-friendly approach, Seba Camp has a perennial list of activities, with land-based adventures occurring in the summer and water, as well as land activities in the winter. In summer the water channels of the Okavango Delta are in delightful flood, creating the opportunity to take in a boat trip or a mokoro adventure. Game drives in this rich area offer a constant parade of herd animals as well as predators like leopard, hyena and lion.

Night drives, nature walks, fishing and birding are always accompanied by the sound insight and guidance of our resident guides. The Kids Activities program is designed with the intention of teaching children to fall in love with nature. Here younger children will have the opportunity to scrapbook and paint, developing their fine motor coordination. Older children are shown the arts of fishing and the basic of photography. All in all, it will be an adventure they’ll take many learnings from.
