Built to incorporate the rugged curves of the granite outcroppings, Serengeti Bushtops fuses itself in harmony with the surroundings, in order to enhance its beauty. The wooden deck is filled with soft daybeds and recliners around a rock pool overlooking the green plains as far as the horizon allows. The twelve tents at Serengeti Bushtops, two of which are family suites, redefine camping. These 120 square metre behemoths are built on raised platforms and surrounded by breath-taking views of the Serengeti. Each has its own Jacuzzi and a private butler service. Inside the rooms polished wood floorboards lead to a lush double bed and en-suite bathroom. No matter which room you’re in the contemporary African architecture will have you believing that living in the bush can be a deluxe experience.
Wildlife & Activities
Choose from an array of safari experiences, with game drives offered in the cooler parts of the day, when the predators are most actively hunting. Full day game drives leave early in the morning and include lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, or anywhere else deemed perfect. Night game drives bring the nocturnal excitement to light, showing just what happens when the stars come out.
Add to this the possibilities of bush walks, accompanied by armed guides, and connecting with the local Kuria people. Here you’ll experience their customs and entertainment, including archery and traditional board games. Children over the age of 7 are warmly welcome at Serengeti Bushtops.
