Selinda Camp

Location

The beautiful and brand new Selinda Camp lies on the banks of the Selinda Spillway, as it joins the the Linyanti River. The 130 000 hectare private Selinda Reserve is home to elephants by the thousands, the famous Selinda Pride of lions which has been recently featured in National Geographic film “Birth of a Pride” by Dereck and Beverly Joubert.  You may also get the opportunity to see sightings of the Selinda pack of African wild dogs.

The Camp

The camp has three large thatched guest tents with en-suite bathrooms, large private veranda and private splash pool. Each guest tents is different and unique and has been designed with it’s own theme and color palette and metal has also been incorporated into the design.  In addition to the three main tents, the Selinda Suite (like the Zarafa Dhow Suite and the Duba Plains Suite), comprises of a two-bedroom tented villa. The Selinda Suite is exclusively and guests can enjoy their own entrance, chef, butler, private vehicle and safari guide.

Activities and Wildlife

The game drives, boating, walks and tracking together with other bespoke safari activities are all arranged to provide you with the best opportunities to see incredible game in an exceptional wildlife area.  You can get the chance to see the big five, hippo, plains game and  as many as the 200 or more bird species in the area.
