Accommodation
The lodge’s main dining area, called The Old Farmhouse, is still filled with remnants of another time in Tanzania’s colonial past, yet renovated to contain the luxuries all guests need. Here polished mahogany floors and comfortable yet elegant furniture are lit through the hung windows with views of the coffee fields or Mount Meru. Enjoy an evening aperitif on the veranda if it’s cool or the lounge’s fireplace if it’s not. No matter your choice, Legendary Lodge has the strongest sense of coming home. You’ll always feel a part of something old, traditional and lovingly experienced. The manager lives on the premises to ensure that each one of your requests is met with expediency. The lodge also houses a gym, spa, tennis court and boutique.
The 6 voluminous cottages each have private terraces that face Mount Meru, fireplaces, king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. The eggshell white walls and polished mahogany furnishings create a contrast against the rich green fronds right outside your windows. A family cottage is also available for bigger groups, with interconnecting passageways joining them.
